First and foremost, I’m lifelong Rangers supporter, I love my club and all it stands for.

I see it as my duty to protect its integrity and stand up for its values. I have been a season ticket holder for nearly 30 years and have had the privilege of Chairing the committees that oversaw both Walter Smith’s and Mark Hateley’s testimonial years.

I sat on the original working group that managed the process of forming Club 1872 and I’m pleased to now be in a position to devote the time and energy required to serve on the board.

Before retiring, I spent 40 years in the advertising industry in the UK, working at PLC board level. During my career I have worked extensively with the media, both print and broadcast.

I have served on several boards including a major charity, a recruitment company, a print company and one of the UK’s biggest communication groups. I am an experienced fund raiser and I am very comfortable working at all levels and with diverse groups.

I’m an excellent communicator and analyst and over the last several years have worked with technology companies, keeping abreast of all modern communication techniques.

I believe this experience could be invaluable to Club 1872 in terms of both growing the membership and raising the profile of the organisation further through targeted supporter engagement and marketing campaigns.
