Euan Macfarlane currently leads Global Headcount Planning and Workforce Management Operations for a major multinational IT organisation. With two decades of industry experience, he brings deep expertise in operational excellence, supported by Six Sigma qualifications in Business Process Improvement.
Throughout his 20-year career across the IT sector, Euan has established a strong reputation as a proven Director, Programme Manager, and Project Manager. His track record includes successfully overseeing large-scale onboarding initiatives, managing outsourcing transitions to new business partners, launching highperforming contact centres, and designing innovative business strategies that consistently deliver multimilliondollar savings year over year.
Beyond his corporate achievements, Euan has demonstrated longstanding dedication to Rangers Football Club as a season ticket holder at Ibrox for more than 15 years. During his second tenure as a Director at Club 1872, he played a pivotal role in restoring and strengthening constructive working relationships with the club.
In this capacity, he engaged directly with key leaders including John Bennett, Fraser Thornton, John Gilligan, Andrew Cavenagh, and the wider Rangers executive team. Euan presented a refreshed strategic vision focused on Heritage and Ibroxbased investment—one that was very well received and supported across all stakeholder groups.
Under his leadership, £220,000 has already been ringfenced for several heritage and Ibroxfocused projects, with an additional £220,000 planned for investment this year through the recent share issue.
This builds upon the more than £3 million invested during his first term as Director, reflecting a longterm commitment to meaningful, sustainable contribution.
Euan has also been highly visible and accessible throughout this journey, participating in numerous podcasts, interviews, and video features to communicate the new strategy and engage openly with supporters.
He remains committed to frontfacing communication as the organisation continues a rebrand, strengthens integration with the new board, and launches a refreshed contributor campaign aligned to its evolving identity and strategic goals.
