I have been a Rangers supporter since I was a boy and my passion for the club has only deepened over the years. Like many fans, my attention expanded beyond firstteam matters during the leadup to, and the aftermath of, the events of 2012.
Since then, I have taken a wider interest in the club’s stability, governance, and future direction.
I have been a committed member of Club 1872 since its formation. Over that time, I have followed closely the direction it needed to take in its early years and the exciting new chapter the organisation is now entering.
After speaking with current Club 1872 board representatives, I am more convinced than ever that this is the right moment for me to step forward.
Instead of simply watching from the sidelines, I want to actively contribute — which is why I am seeking election to the board, with a particular focus on heritage projects that matter to the membership and enhance the matchday experience for all Rangers fans.
In my previous career in the telecommunications industry, I had the privilege of working in and around Ibrox for many years. During that time, I witnessed first-hand the challenges involved in maintaining such a large and iconic structure – one visited by tens of thousands every week and regarded not just as a stadium, but as a monument of remembrance for generations of supporters.
This experience gave me a deep appreciation of the responsibility that comes with preserving and respecting the history embedded within the fabric of Ibrox.
Combined with my current role as a Programme Manager for a large international IT company, I believe I am well placed to support Club 1872 in its ambitions.
I bring experience in structured delivery, stakeholder engagement, and longterm planning – skills that will help the board prioritise and deliver heritage initiatives that reflect the values and expectations of the membership.
This is an exciting time to be a Rangers fan, with a new board and managerial setup driving positive change.
Together we can build on this momentum, strengthen Club 1872, and develop heritage projects that every member can take pride in – projects that protect our history and will be remembered by generations of Rangers supporters to come.
